The Euro is the official currency of Sicily; however, credit cards are widely accepted. Please note: The Four Seasons is a cashless property; all room folios must be settled by credit card.

In April in Sicily, the average temperatures are in the 60s-70s during the day and 50s-60s at night.

**Please note that all visitors to Sicily must have a valid passport and proof of onward/return travel. Passports MUST be valid for at least 90 days (3 months) AFTER your return date. 120 days (6 months) is recommended. It is standard procedure for the hotel to ask for a copy of your passport upon check-in.

Arrival travel details

International flights will be booked from your home city into Catania-Fontanarossa Airport in Catania, Sicily (Airport Code: CTA) for arrivals on Sunday, April 21.
Once you arrive in Sicily, you will need to clear immigration, retrieve your luggage, and go through customs.
After you exit the arrival hall, a transportation representative will be waiting.
The transfer from Catania airport to San Domenico Palace is approximately 60 minutes.
Please note: Rooms will NOT be available at San Domenico Palace prior to main arrival day, Sunday, April 21st. If you would like to arrive early and extend your stay elsewhere in Sicily, you may do so at your own expense.

On Thursday, April 25, flights will be booked from Catania, Sicily (Airport Code: CTA) back to your home city.
If you would like to extend your stay at San Domenico Palace upon the conclusion of the program, please email Michelle Sedlak at msedlak@classicconferences.com to check availability PRIOR to booking your flights. If rooms are available at the group rate, the rate will be $1,255 Euros, plus applicable taxes and fees per night; however this is based on hotel rate and room availability. If rooms are not available at the group rate, the hotel will advise of other options. Please reach out to Michelle for assistance with any post-meeting stays.

ATTIRE

When visiting Sicily in spring, please keep in mind the temperatures can fluctuate:
Pack layers as the daytime can be warm and the nights can be chilly.
Bring a light jacket; Taormina is located on the top of a cliff and can be breezy.
Taormina is a very old city with cobblestone streets and lots of stairs. Please be sure to bring good walking shoes (stylish ankle boots or good walking flats are recommended).
When packing, please keep in mind the activities you have selected and bring appropriate clothing.
Attire for the evening events is resort casual, with the exception of the Awards Dinner. For the Awards Dinner, all guests will be asked to wear Resort Upscale / Cocktail Attire.
Please note that the dress code for the majority of the restaurants on-property is elegant resort attire.
