What are the program dates?
The program dates are April 21 – 25, 2024.
What are the travel parameters for arrival day, Sunday, April 21?
You may arrive ANYTIME on Sunday, April 21. Please arrive in time for a Welcome Reception that evening. Check-in time at the San Domenico Palace is after 3:00pm.
What time can I depart on departure day, Thursday, April 25?
Flights can be booked anytime. Check-out time at San Domenico Palace is 12:00pm.
How do I get to Sicily?
International flights will be booked from your home city into Catania-Fontanarossa Airport in Catania, Sicily (Airport Code: CTA) for arrivals on Sunday, April 21. Upon arriving in Catania, you will clear immigration, retrieve your luggage, and proceed through customs.
The transfer from Catania Airport to the San Domenico Palace is approximately 60 minutes.
What documents do I need to travel to Sicily?
All visitors to Sicily must have a valid passport and proof of onward/return travel. Passports MUST be valid for at least 90 days (3 months) AFTER your return date. 120 days (6 months) is recommended. At this time, there are no Covid-19 entry requirements to enter.
Can I come in early or stay late and stay at San Domenico Palace?
Rooms will NOT be available at San Domenico Palace prior to main arrival day, Sunday, April 21.
If you would like to arrive early and extend your stay elsewhere in Sicily, you may do so at your own expense.
If you would like to extend your stay at San Domenico Palace upon the conclusion of the program, please email Michelle Sedlak at msedlak@classicconferences.com to check availability PRIOR to booking your flights. If rooms are available at the group rate, the rate will be $1,255 Euros, plus applicable taxes and fees per night; however this is based on hotel rate and room availability. If rooms are not available at the group rate, the hotel will advise of other options. Please reach out to Michelle for assistance with any post-meeting stays.
